Thought I’d try out this pub for a few beers n some food. Tried the local brew Cunnamulla Fella and was pleasantly surprised as I found it to be a tasty drop comparable to Great Northern. I also had a bowl of wedges that were so delicious and plentiful well worth $10. The publican was a nice fellow who had the best playlist of music from my younger days 70s n 80s music. Company was great quiet for a weeknight and has a pool table in the front bar for those inclined to pot a few balls. Other meals were brought out of what I saw that looked well presented and plentiful. A very local pub and basic in appearance without the need to display cheap advertising from reps for alcohol sales. An old pub that has that warmth you can only get when it’s not revamped for tourism because putting lipstick on a pig is just that! No pokies and keno gambling at this pub which reduces the risk of double addiction. Friendly atmosphere and warm publican. Thanks for reading.
